Fraunhofer IWM  has produced an informative video all about the global and local material behaviour of fibre reinforced plastics. In the video, Dr Michael Luke, head of the component safety and lightweight construction unit at Fraunhofer Institute for Mechanics of Materials IWM discusses the main issues of the research and asks questions such as how can relevant features of the global and local material behaviour of fibre reinforced plastics efficiently be characterised and analysed?
